GIA Report Number: 6207332274
In 1910, the gemstone Morganite was named after financier and gem collector J.P. Morgan, by the chief gemologist of Tiffany and Company, George Kunz. This fabulous gemstone, is as desirable today, as it was over 100 years ago. Morganite is a cousin to Aquamarine, Heliodor and Emerald, all varieties of the species Beryl. Color ranges from salmon pink to lavender.
This is an exceptional, light pink (beautiful…) Morganite. GIA deemed this gemstone to be transparent. It is clean and crisp, shining as a quality Morganite should. The cushion shape is extremely desirable. Additionally, the lapidary used a custom, modified Brilliant Cut. This is a truly stunning, gemstone.
