1.84ct Light Pink Oval Morganite
Mozambique
8.82 x 6.69 x 5.32 mm
GIA Report Number: 5202446112
In 1910, the gemstone Morganite was named after financier and gem collector J.P. Morgan, by the chief gemologist of Tiffany and Company, George Kunz. This fabulous gemstone, is as desirable today, as it was over 100 years ago. Morganite is a cousin to Aquamarine, Heliodor and Emerald, all varieties of the species Beryl. Color ranges from salmon pink to lavender.
This is an exceptional, light pink (beautiful…) Morganite. GIA deemed this gemstone to be transparent. It is oval shaped, which is delicate, lovely and traditional. It is clean and crisp, shining as a quality Morganite should. Additionally, the lapidary used a custom, modified Brilliant Cut. This is a truly stunning, gemstone.
