This Montana Sapphire is exquisite! This sapphire was custom cut in the United States, by a lapidary in New York. We were able to procure two. Both are exquisite, Montana Sapphires.
The gem is untreated, unheated, which is rare for any sapphire, including Montana Sapphires. Most sapphires, including Montana Sapphires, have been heat treated using chemicals and gases, which change their color and improve their clarity.
The color is an electric, greenish blue. We are talking “neon!” Absolutely stunning! This is a gift from Mother Earth.
This is a crisp, scintillating sapphire, and will delight the wearer and admirer.
GIA laser inscribed the GIA Report on the sapphire, making identification possible for insurance and appraisal purposes.
