This is an extremely rare, unheated, “Fancy Color” and “Color Change” Sapphire .
This sapphire was designated as a “Fancy Colored” sapphire by GIA Laboratory. The gem is unheated which is additionally rare (95% of all gem quality sapphires are heated). This beauty was designated by GIA Laboratory as a “Color Change” sapphire. Spectacularly fabulous!
The colors in this gorgeous sapphire, are something to behold. Beautiful bluish violet color with changes to pinkish violet, depending on lighting (daylight/fluorescent vs incandescent).
